Serena was travelling to Kochi airport along with her husband and son to pick up her daughter, who was returning from abroad. According to the available information, the car they were travelling in crashed into an electric pole while they were on their way to the airport.

All three occupants sustained injuries in the accident. However, Serena’s condition was reported to be serious following the crash. She was undergoing treatment for the injuries sustained in the accident.
